360 Degrees was a finalist of the Sydney Modern Competition for the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Located in Sydney, the project was commissioned by The Art Gallery of New South Wales, with architecture by Kengo Kuma and Associates and BVN. The submission was completed in 2015.

Design Statement
The city of Sydney is recognized worldwide by its ideal setting in perfect balance with extraordinary nature and urban life. This fortunate coexistence of nature and urban context has made the modern culture and life in Sydney very open, eventful, active and unique.
The project site for the extension of the Art Gallery of New South Wales sits in arguably the most symbolic area to the harbour, surrounded by water and the expansive green of botani cal garden with skyscrapers of the CBD in background view.
The extension of AGNSW is to celebrate and enrich its unique culture and quality of modern life in the city.
